Allen has epilepsy, and his blackout seizures are severe. They happen most often at night, and he has gotten a seizure support dog at the recommendation of his doctor. When the dog appears to have killed the neighbors cat and trashed his apartment, Allen starts to feel unsafe with the dog and decides to give him back. But when Allen finds a dead squirrel in his apartment the next morning, he questions the nature of his seizures and who might actually be responsible for the dead animals.
